NORTH SUMATRA and ACEH: Logged out and plundered, this part of Indonesia once possessed pristine rain forests, rare species of animals and birds, strong kingdoms. Now all there is left is environmental disaster. City of Medan is nothing less than a monument of urban mismanagement and terrible planning. Aceh's nature is ruined and unconstitutional Sharia-law imposed.
