Mosques, churches, synagogues, mighty river and not far at the outskirts pyramids, Sphinx and Necropolis. Cairo is chaotic and not easy to navigate, polluted and noisy but still one of the most fascinating cities on earth.

20 - 24 February.
"Are you for the Reds or for the Yellows. And don't imagine that the colors are like those elsewhere. In Thailand, Reds are
supporting turbo-capitals tycoon and Yellows are for monarchy and feudalist elites. For the poor, even capitalist TS is better than feudal lords. Being provocateur I visited one of the leaders of the Yellows, Pipob Tongchai. Yes,
the one who was in charge of the occupation of Bangkok airport last year. We had very good chat. A long one. I still don't have any clue what exactly he wants, except that all TS's funds get confiscated... Supreme Court decided exactly that - TS should be stripped of almost all his assets. Critics said that the judges were bribed (even exact sum was quoted) to vote against the populist tycoon who is now living in exile. Reds said they will fight. But they are not our Reds, anyway, are they? Confused? Don't worry - entire nation is!"

5-8 February.
SINGAPORE. Love it or hate it, no Southeast Asian can avoid this rich city state. It became a transportation hub, place with some of the best medical facilities in the world, the best art galleries, theaters and museums in Southeast Asia, as well as the best libraries, research centers and schools. Known for its obsession with business, Singapore is now trying to
change its image and identity - it is spending hundreds of millions of dollars on new museums, concert halls and art schools, trying to become one of the art capitals of the world. Considering racial and cultural diversity of its population, it may actually succeed. However, don't expect 'revolutionary art' - one that we are used to in Venezuela, Cuba, even Chile. This is going to be 'art business' - quite foreign term to Latinos and many Europeans, but very hip stuff here!
